I am a Senior Elementary Education Major with a concentration in mathematics at Castleton State College in Vermont. I currently have a GPA around a 3.6.

Experience

Throughout my time at college and before I have spent time helping students with academic struggles. I recently spent a semester working with a first student in math at a local elementary school. We worked through issues with understanding when to add and subtract. Tutoring helps me learn along with the student different ways to help them understanding concepts. I want to help students understand. Sometimes it is a difficult task to fully understand the why or the over all concepts. I believe that getting some one on one tutoring can help open doors to new possibilities in life.

I enjoy reading, hiking, and going to the beach. I love puzzles, all different kinds, including jigsaw puzzles, sudoku, logic puzzles. I like to clean and organize.I love helping others whenever I have the chance to.
